Why Rising Minds Exists
The Ovations Rising Minds STEAM Scholarship Fund exists to ensure that when a child’s gifts are recognized early—by a teacher, mentor, or learning community—opportunity doesn’t end at nomination. Through this fund, Ovations helps remove financial barriers so students can access transformative enrichment programs, leadership experiences, academic camps, creative intensives, and STEAM opportunities that expand confidence and future pathways. Through Ovations School for the Arts, a GuideStar-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are mobilizing immediate support to ensure no child leaves the Holiday Festival without a gift — and without knowing their community cares. |

🌟 Meet Our 2026 Rising Mind Scholar
Myah Davis (Age 9) For many children, being recognized for their potential is a quiet moment, a teacher noticing curiosity, creativity, or a way of thinking that goes beyond the page. For some, that recognition becomes encouragement. For others, it becomes a turning point. For Myah Davis, it was a gifted teacher seeing something extraordinary and choosing to say, “You’re ready for more.” At just nine years old, Myah was nominated for a national STEAM leadership and enrichment experience because of her brilliant mind, deep curiosity, and emerging leadership. She is the kind of student who asks thoughtful questions, explores ideas with enthusiasm, and brings creativity into everything she learns. This nomination wasn’t requested... it was earned. 🧠 Why Myah Was Selected Myah stood out not only for her academic ability, but for the way she engages with learning. Her teacher recognized a student who thinks critically, creates fearlessly, and shows the kind of early promise that deserves to be nurtured. The Rising Minds Scholarship Fund exists for moments like this — when a child’s potential is recognized early, and the next step requires community support to become possible. 💛 About Myah’s Family Myah is being raised by her mother, Brooke Manulkin, a devoted single mom who works hard to provide stability, love, and opportunity for her daughter. Like many families, Brooke celebrates her child’s achievements with pride, while also facing the reality that enrichment opportunities of this caliber often come with financial barriers. This scholarship is not about charity. It is about community stepping in at the moment recognition meets need, ensuring that promise is met with access. 🎓 About the Rising Minds Opportunity Through the Ovations Rising Minds STEAM Scholarship Fund, Myah will be supported in attending a prestigious STEAM leadership experience designed to help young scholars: ~Explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through hands-on learning ~Build confidence and leadership skills at an early age ~Learn alongside peers who share a love of curiosity and creativity ~Begin seeing themselves as future innovators and leaders This experience is designed to expand what young learners believe is possible, and to help them carry that confidence forward. 🎯 Our Goal To support Myah’s participation, we are raising $3,500 through the Ovations Rising Minds STEAM Scholarship Fund. 🌱 Minimum gift: $35 💛 Community goal: $100 average donation 🌟 Visionary Circle: $500 Every contribution helps turn recognition into opportunity, and sends a powerful message to a young scholar: You were seen.
