Core Curricular Courses
Ovations School for the Arts is a unique, Private Micro-School that offers our courses in an Arts-integrated, University Model Format. Meaning that, similar to attending college courses, a student is presented with a catalog that has a list of courses offered. Then the individual chooses the classes, times, and days that work for their schedule and the goal or degree. Ovations works in the similar way, with the end result or goal being graduation from High School with Honors. This also gives students and families the freedom to choose. These classes are more rigorous and for credit. There is a heavy commitment from the family and parents to participate in the Core Curricular Courses. Students meet once or twice a week with an instructor and are expected to work at home as if they were in school full-time when not in class. There are study hall options available with tutor access if needed. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Core Curricular Courses are courses offered for credit with Honors Monday-Thursday 9a-3:30p. |
